About Tree Martin-Lucas

My name is Tree Martin-Lucas, and I’m running for Monroe County Clerk because I believe this office should serve people with care, competence, and respect.

I am a wife, a mother, and a proud MiMi, and those roles shape how I see public service. Family teaches you patience, responsibility, and the importance of showing up, especially when people need help navigating something complicated or unfamiliar.

I bring eight years of hands-on experience in the Clerk's office, which means I’m ready to serve on day one. I understand how the Clerk’s office works, the attention to detail it requires, and the trust the public places in this role. Before that, I served in the Sheriff's office for 12 years. I have served both as Election Supervisor and Chief Deputy, and at times have performed both roles simultaneously.

People come to the Clerk’s office for many reasons, and for some, those moments can be stressful. That’s why listening matters. I believe good public service starts by hearing concerns, answering questions clearly, and treating every person with kindness and respect.

As Monroe County Clerk, I will be approachable, prepared, and committed to making sure the office runs smoothly and fairly for everyone.

I would be truly honored to earn your trust and your vote. Serving our community is personal to me, and if elected, I promise to listen, to lead with compassion, and to treat every person who walks through the Clerk’s office with dignity and care. I look forward to serving Monroe County and I’d be grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
